It’s finally here. Today is the day. At 1.05pm I begin the first part of a rather long journey which will eventually see me land in stunning Argentina 25 minutes before I’ve actually left New Zealand. (I love that part!)

It arrived ….. something I’ve been waiting for…… with crossed fingers, legs, toes & eyes ….. on Saturday …… a long, brown envelope with AFS Intercultural Programmes, New Zealand.

I’ve applied for a one-month Language Immersion Award for Teachers, sponsored by AFS New Zealand. Spain was my first choice, Chile, my second choice.
Applications closed on Friday 20 July 2007. And yes, I put an application in (ages ago)! Now I wait.
